This Powered By Zola Partners Program Revenue Shares Schedule ("Schedule") is part of the Operating Agreement. All capitalized terms used below that are not defined on this page have the meanings given to them in the Operating Agreement.
During each calendar month, you may earn Revenue Shares for "Qualifying Purchases," meaning amounts we receive from customers' Qualifying Purchases, excluding shipping, handling, and gift-wrapping fees, taxes, and service charges, and less any rebates, credit card processing fees, returns, and bad debt.
The Revenue Shares you may earn will vary depending on the number and category of Products that are shipped, streamed, or downloaded (as applicable) through your implementation of the Widget, and will also vary depending upon whether the Products you sell are A) provided and fulfilled by third parties such as publishers (including self-publishers), known as "Third Party Sales," or B) you fulfill the orders yourself via "Local Fulfillment" (e.g. a sale is processed through The Everywhere Store, a purchase order is provided to you, and you ship the Product directly).
A. With Third Party Sales, you receive 50% of the retail share of the sale after a 40-cent per unit fee retained by Zola (up to a maximum of $4) and excluding rebates, payment processing fees, returns, and bad debt.
For purposes of example only:
You use the Widget to sell a hardcover book published by Big Publisher/Distributor on your website for $30.
The Big Publisher/Distributor1 receives $18, leaving a retail share of $12.
Of the $12, Zola retains a 40-cent unit fee, and the credit card company retains a payment processing fee of 95 cents.
Of the remaining $10.65, you are due 50%, or $5.33.
B. With Local Fulfillment sales, you receive 95% of the total sale amount2, after a 40-cent per unit fee retained by Zola (up to a maximum of $4) and excluding rebates, payments processing fees, returns, and bad debt. You will also receive a shipping allowance, calculated at the time of the purchase and dependent on the choice of shipping option by the customer.
For purposes of example only:
You use the Widget to sell a used book for $30.
Zola retains a 40-cent unit fee, and the credit card company retains a payment processing fee of 95 cents.
Of the remaining $28.65, you are due 95%, or $27.22.
The shipping cost at the time of purchase was calculated at $2.85.
The total remitted to you in conjunction with the sale is $30.07.
Note that any items sold for $0 will be charged a $0.20 per unit fee, which shall be deducted from your total monthly earnings. Should Zola be unable to recoup such fees for two consecutive months or more, or should such fees become, in Zola’s sole judgment, onerous or at-risk, Zola reserves the right to request payment directly from you or terminate your use of The Everywhere Store.
1Publisher/Third Party shares vary and are subject to specific agreements with each Publisher/Third Party
2Or more, as Zola’s 5% share is capped at a maximum of $10 per item, so you will be due 100% of the net for every dollar over $200
